Formulation of Peel-off Gel Face Mask from Pandanus amaryllifolius (Roxb.) Leaves Extract

UV exposure is the most significant environmental risk factor that can be altered for skin cancer andmany other conditions. An antioxidant a compound protect from sun radiation.Pandanus amaryllifolius plant has activity because it contains polyphenols. Theobjective of this study to formulate pandan Wangi leaf extract peel-off gel facial mask and analyzehow variations in extract's concentration affect physical chemical evaluation. In study,three formulas were made with varying concentrations extract, namely F1 (1%), F2 (3%), F3(5%). The preparation was evaluated 28 days at controlled room temperature (180C-300C+20C).The evaluation carried out included (organoleptic, spreadability, homogeneity,viscosity, dry time) (pH). results showed F1, F2, F3 met therequirements Variations Pandan Wangileaf had effect (p<0.05) on which includedorganoleptic, viscosity. While homogeneity, time, pHdid not show (p> 0.05). These indicate pandanus (Pandanusamaryllifolius Roxb.) formulated into mask.
